M1A1 Abrams 1:35 - Academy Aus Decals

The Mighty M1 Abrams Main Battle Tank used by the US Army and Marines, Egypt, Iraq, Kuwait and the Australian Army which operates Fifty-nine M1A1 AIM(SA) versions.   Replacing the LEOPARD 1 AS1 in 2007, they were completely refurbished US Army M1s.   Very unusual in a tank is that they are powered by a Gas Turbine engine so can burn any fuel available to them.  They are one of the largest and heaviest Main Battle Tanks in service weighing in a 68 tons.   This kit comes with Australian decals and is for the Intermediate Modeller.
