Hawker Hurricane MK1 1:72 scale - Airfix

The Hawker Hurricane was the first true low wing monoplane fighter used by the RAF.  It was never adopted by the RAAF with only 1 example flown by the RAAF however may examples were flown by RAAF pilots assigned to the RAF particularly during the Battle of Britain in 1940.  Not as well known as the Spitfire but actually shot down more German aircraft during the WW2 than it's more famous counterpart.   A great beginners kit from Airfix.
