THUNDERBIRD 2 was the workhorse of the International Rescue Fleet. With its ability to exchange large cargo pods for different missions it could carry all sorts of equipment anywhere it was needed including the small submersible, THUNDERBIRD 4 used for most underwater rescue missions. TB 2 pilot, Virgil Tracey would slide down a corridor of chutes to embark into his aircraft hidden in a secret hanger and launch from a ramp through a terrace of folding palm trees. TB 4 aquanaut was Gordon Tracey. Great kit for beginners and comes precoloured.
