Stirling Mk 1 Short 1:72 - Italeri

The Short Stirling was a British Heavy Bomber used in the earlier part of WW2.   It's accomplishments were over shadowed by the famous Lancaster bomber which was built in much large numbers.   The Stirling was flown by RAAF crews over Germany and during the later part of the war was developed into a glider tug for troop transport gliders used during the D-Day invasion.   This is a 1:72 scale kit of the bomber version and comes with markings for aircraft flown by the RAAF.   For the intermediate builder.
