Thunderbird 1 1:144 scale - Aoshima
The famous THUNDERBIRD 1 piloted by the International Rescue on scene leader Scott Tracey. This Hypersonic aircraft launched vertically through a large sliding hatch which formed the island's swimming pool, it would change to horizontal flight with its wings folded back. On approach to it's destination it would fold its wings forward and lower landing legs to land vertically. It was armed with missiles, cannon and decoys. It carried advanced communications equipment to establish a forward operating base for the rest of the team. A great kit for the Sci-Fi fan.
