The SUNDERLAND was a large 4 engined flying boat used by the Allied forces during WW2 for anti-submarine work, search and rescue, laying of mines and maritime patrols. It's large size and long range made it ideal for long ocean patrols and with it's ability to land on water was ideal for picking up downed pilots. It was operated by the RAAF and the kit comes with RAAF Squadron markings. Okay for the beginner with a little help.
