The Mosquito was also known as the Wooden Wonder being built almost entirely from ply wood as metal was becoming scarce. It was used for a variety of roles during WW2 including a fighter, night fighter, Recon, Light bomber, transport for landing spies behind enemy lines and even special strike using the famous bouncing bomb. It was flown by the RAAF in several versions. A great kit for beginners.
