The Dauntless was a specialised Dive bomber used for launching strikes against enemy ships from US Carriers and was made famous during the battle of Midway and the Coral Sea. A robust aircraft, it was used during all of WW2 and by the wars end it had sunk more enemy shipping than any other aircraft. A great kit for beginners.
