The M198 was the Australian Army's main towed 155mm howitzer gun system in both the early and later versions. It was to be replaced by a Self Propelled Gun System several years ago but the program was later put on hold. They have now been replaced by the US M 777 155mm howitzer. Suitable kit for Intermediate Modellers.
